Paul Strisik

Paul Strisik (1918 – 1998), devoted his painting life to capturing the many effects of Nature on canvas and paper.  Highly awarded both for his oils and his watercolor works, he chose not to be pigeonholed as a “type”, but rather a “painter of effects”.  Travelling the world from his home base in Rockport, MA, he painted in plein air, later transferring the fresh images to larger works. His art is widely held in collections across the United States and abroad.
