(1925 – 2021) In his art, Don captured the progression of light during different seasons and in different atmospheric conditions. His was an accomplished impressionistic style that gives the viewer a feeling of joy in the beauty of outdoor scenes. He painted in plein-air and almost exclusively with a palette knife using texture and color to bring his work to life.
